Eastbourne Pier was first opened in 1872 and is 300 metres long. After a fire in 2014 the pier has had a substantial refurbishment. It was built with a camera obscura so that visitors could get an interesting view of the Sussex coast. I took this picture as part of a long running bus journey around the coast of Britain with my friend Steve
