East Burke Vermont Mountain landscape Postcard

My inspiration for this original oil painting was a photo I shot of the scene on a morning drive. The colours of the grass and sky combined made for a perfect mood and atmosphere. That warm intense grass drew me in. I've painted this scene three times in watercolor and oil and thus far I see this one as my favourite and most succesfull.
