The Douglases were one of Scotland's most powerful families and this is the accepted Douglas Clan/Family tartan. It was first published in 1819 and was designed by Wilsons of Bannockburn. I absolutely love it. It is amazing, and warm, and soft, softer I would have ever expected, it does not look cheap at all, it is just the best blanket ever, I love wrapping my self in it.
