Double-Sided Vintage Christmas Art Pillow

This sweet double-sided lumbar pillow features two original watercolor paintings by my grandmother, artist Ethel Sweet (1911-2008), painted as original greeting cards when she was alive. On the front is a depiction of children bringing home a freshly cut Christmas Tree and on the backside is a Chrismukkah Reindeer wearing a Yarmulke. As an artist, she actually began her career doing advertising illustrations for department stores that ran in newspapers, so you could say she was the first 'art director' I ever knew. She painted with oils and acrylics through the mid-century and in her later years became an adept water colorist. She even became a Watercolor Instructor in La Jolla in her 90s! I've saved many of her little original cards and by creating products on here with them I can share her work with others and hope it makes them happy. I know that would make her happy.
