Dos Flores en Alcántara / First Stage Poster

Dos Flores en Alcántara are a series of studies based on Taurus archetype that has evolved through mediterranean culture. An exploration of sensuous earthly world, where the bull image is intertwined with a floral landscape. The preliminary design were drawn on four seperate films (Lexan) applying additive and subtractive technique with charcoal, litho crayon, Tusche washes and rubbing ink. The colouring or painting of the image took place in a quadtone modality with photoshop 5.0. This series were part of an international touring exhibition titled: “Key Black / Gráfica del Sur”
