This is a beautiful print of a Japanese ink drawing from around 1878, possibly by Kano. The drawing is of a lovely cat (neko) curled up on the floor sleeping. There is a great tradition of sketching cats in ink. Their graceful movements seem to lend themselves perfectly to a simple, elegant figure. The ideal gift for any cat loving person!
