Our home is often visited by these big, incredibly pretty spiders. They are wandering hunters. The Moms carry their egg sacks in their jaws, not eating the whole time, until the spiderlings are ready to hatch. The only time I've seen them in a web is when the babies hatch and they have a huge, messy webbing to climb on. These are large spiders with the females measuring 3", including the legs.
