Theo van Doesburg - Contra-Composition of Dissonances XVI. Along with Piet Mondrian, artist and architect Theo van Doesburg helped co-found the journal De Stijl, or “The Style”, in 1917. This digitally restored piece consists of diagonal blocks of white, light blue, dark blue, orange, brown, red, grey and black surrounded by black lines.
