Dja Faunal Reserve Cameroon Postcard

The Dja Faunal Reserve is one of Africa's largest and best-protected rainforests, almost completely encircled by the natural boundary of the Dja River. This UNESCO World Heritage site is a sanctuary of biodiversity, home to over 100 mammal species including western lowland gorillas, chimpanzees, and forest elephants. The dense evergreen canopy creates a prehistoric atmosphere where sunlight filters through massive hardwoods and ancient ferns.
