Dividend Day at the Bank of England (Stock Market) Post-it Notes

This design features a painting by the English painter, of the Victorian era, George Elgar Hicks (1824–1914). It shows a historic scene of stock-market investors waiting to collect their dividend payments from the Bank of England, which was established in 1694 and now acts as the central bank of the United Kingdom. Many men in this scene are wearing top hats and suits, while the women are wearing elegant dresses. They were the prosperous classes of 19th century London. However, the scene is filled with expressions of human emotion, and there are even small dogs sitting on the floor of the bank. The original painting was exhibited at the Royal Academy of London in 1859.
