"Dinosaur Friends 2" is the title - one of my favorite paintings I've done yet, and my first of 2010! Quick background - when I was a very little girl I had some allegedly "imaginary" friends of mine which were dinosaurs. An amateur paleontologist even then, I remember them more clearly and distinctly than I do most of my other friends from that age. So I thought I'd create a series of paintings inspired by them. This litle girl has dinosaur friends as well (but seems to have a much nicer house than I did!). Her eyes are striking - golden, almost reptilian. Her bedroom is in high Rococo style, and she even has a Spinosaurus friend (one of my personal favorite dinosaurs, as well as my nephew Luke's!). The product itself is excellent. And the size was good once I placed the picture in the correct area. The only draw back is that the poster is shipped flat and very hard to unroll therefore be prepared to have roll marks on it when you finally do get it unrolled to lay flat. Printing is crisp and clear and the ink is wonderful. Again only problem was in the unrolling of the poster.
