Destiny (1900) by JW Waterhouse is a vintage Victorian Pre-Raphaelite fine art portrait painting. A beautiful young woman is standing in front of a mirror drinking hot tea from a bowl. Boats can be seen in the harbour in the reflection in the mirror. About the artist: John William Waterhouse (1849-1917) was an English Preraphaelite painter most famous for his paintings of female characters from ancient mythology and literature.

I was originally happy about my purchase and Nana loved the gift. HOWEVER, the description specifically says that these are microwave and dishwasher safe, BUT the first time Nana put this mug in the dishwasher it was destroyed. Not impressed..
