Venice Plein Air is an amazing sketch painted with bright watercolors by the artist, Samuel Dixon. The painting depicts a Venetian waterway complete with traditional gondolas and the shapes of people overlooking the water from one of the city's many bridges. Although clearly a sketch, the colours blend in a way that captures the ephemerality of a Venetian scene, the water is always flowing and the formless people come and go. I absolutely love it. It is amazing, and warm, and soft, softer I would have ever expected, it does not look cheap at all, it is just the best blanket ever, I love wrapping my self in it.
