Colorized from a black and white - 1919 This is the office of Dr. SB Johnston, Dentist. This office was around in the year 1919. This was a modern office, still though, there was only that one light in the ceiling. And it doesn't look that bright. The only real light source seems to be that window. If it was cloudy, I can only imagine he used the screaming as an indicator of what tooth to fix.
