Delicate Flowers Jugendstil Art Nouveau Germany Tile

The hand-decorated tile (ca. 1900) depicts a yellow flower by Grohn, Germany. Created originally using liquid resin press moulding, the company presented this tile at the St. Louis World's Fair. They later partnered with the Belgian manufacturer Maison Helman Céramique in Brussels, Belgium, and became the "Bremer Wandplattenfabrik". They later merged with the local Grohner Wandplatten Fabrik AG as well as the Steingutfabrik Witteburg.
