DEGAS Binder

Ballet Rehearsal by Edgar Degas 19 July 1834 – 27 September 1917 (this is a partial cropping of the whole work. The original artwork is the background image while the text and ballet slippers were added. Please do not mistake them as part of Degas original artwork.) This is one of the prints I purchased while in college. My favourite artists were Degas and Renoir and Patrick Nagel. I do enjoy the more traditional impressionist garden paintings, but I really enjoy the vivid/dark colours and heavier brushstrokes of Renoir and the life that is in Degas works rather than landscapes. It must have been an interesting time to be alive back then.
