Deer in the Forest (by Gustave Courbet) Tissue Paper

This design features a painting by the French artist Gustave Courbet (1819–1877). It shows an adult deer climbing a tree in a verdant woodland as it eats leaves that are strewn around the tree's trunk. Beside the mature deer there is also a young fawn who is watching and attempting to eat some leaves that are lower down the tree. There is a dirt path running through the forest, to the right of the tall tress that the deer are feeding from. It is a wonderful scene that displays that inspiring beauty of nature.

Gorgeous paper, a little heavier than traditional decoupage tissue, but it worked beautifully on my project nonetheless. Elegant - simple- tres chic! The printing turned out beautifully, it is consistent throughout the entire print with a somewhat faded or mottled coloration. I am in love with this paper.
