Deconstruction Coffee Mug

Deconstruction is an original mixed-media painting. I incorporated papers, foil, acrylic paint and ink, to create the lines and textures. The disjointed nature of the subjects with the bursts of colours is my take on the experience of living. Though it pulls us apart at times, no parts are ever truly lost. Simply reconfigured.

I was originally happy about my purchase and Nana loved the gift. HOWEVER, the description specifically says that these are microwave and dishwasher safe, BUT the first time Nana put this mug in the dishwasher it was destroyed. Not impressed..
