The Cursillo movement is a Christian renewal movement that aims to strengthen the spiritual lives of Christians and bring then closer to Christ.
Cursillo involves a three day retreat focusing on prayer, reflection, and teachings on Christian fundamentals. Participants are encouraged to live out their faith in their daily lives and evangelize others. DeColores is a traditional Spanish folk song, widely used as a song in the Roman Catholic Cursillo movement. The colourful Rooster is a symbol of that movement. This journal came in within a week of ordering it and I was thrilled! I love roses so I love having this journal. The size is perfect. Small enough to throw in a bag. The printing is clear. The pages are nice and thick. The binding is sturdy. The printing is a little darker than the photo on screen but that is expected with printing. It looks luxurious to me. I love deep red roses.
