This vintage art is Death and the Painter by William Strang a Scottish painter and engraver 1859- 1921 It depicts a painter sitting at his easel with a young model draped in a robe and holding a crown of laurel leaves down by his leg while Deaths hand rests upon the painter as he stands between the two. The painter seems to sense deaths approach while the model is oblivious.
