this vintage death art is entitled " Death and Dr. Hornbook by William Brassey Hole, published in The poetry of Robert Burns vol I, Edinburgh, circa 1896. It depicts the good doctor meeting Death upon the road while walking at night, Death as the Grim reaper here is brandishing a Scythe as we would expect and a pitchfork over the other shoulder which is more unexpected.
