This daylily cultivar was registered with the American Hemerocallis Society in 1978 as 'Bittersweet Destiny' and was hybridized by Elizabeth Salter in 1993. The colour is described as an orange coral polychrome with a green throat . The flower diameter gets to an average of 6" and the bloom scape height gets up to 24" tall. Daylilies are one of the easiest to grow and carefree perennials out there, loved by millions. There are over 80,000 registered cultivars to choose from and many people become avid collectors once bitten by the daylily bug (I know from experience!).
