Dark Hedges Northern Ireland Postcard

Along Bregagh Road, between Armoy and Stranocum in County Antrim, is an avenue of beech trees in Northern Ireland. The Dark Hedges were catapulted to international fame when they were used as a location in the popular television series Game of Thrones. They were also seen in the 2017 Transformer's film, The Last Knight. In about 1775, James Stuart had them planted at Gracehill House (named after his wife, Grace Lynd). About 150 trees were planted along both sides of the road. Now, about 90 remain. This postcard shows the beauty of the arch of trees known as Dark Hedges in Northern Ireland.
