Danse macabre by Marcel Roux postcard

This vintage art is titled Danse Macabre by Marcel Roux circa 1904. it is a very dark piece with a lot going on. A huge scythe covers the top of the image with Danse Macabre, Marcel Roux and the year 1904 written upon the blade. In the centre a winged death carries a robed woman who is clinging onto him around the shoulders up to a skeletal bell tower where another skeletal figure waits to toll the bells. in the background two or more other winged death figures with people can be seen heading towards the same tower. down below a city or twon stretches in a valley and a set of staires can be seen next to the bell tower. The central winged death figure is in an unusual pose looking down into his passengers face and having an odd bowed stance. Overall it is a very unsettling image.
