Dandelion Market Tote Bag

Reproduction of an old sign found at the entrance to the Dandelion Market in Dublin. This was a famous marketplace in Dublin city center during the 1960's and 1970's which was demolished to make way for a shopping center. Once a popular meeting place for many Dubliners and a busy market for clothes and bric'a'brac, this was also the place where Irish rock band U2 played their first live concerts in 1979. Every Saturday afternoon for six weeks, U2 played The Dandelion Market Car Park. '50 pence admission, all ages welcome,' . 'People talk about these gigs as being legendary, just like the old Dandelion market!
