Dandelion Market Tote Bag
Reproduction of an old sign found at the entrance to the Dandelion Market in Dublin. This was a famous marketplace in Dublin city center during the 1960's and 1970's which was demolished to make way for a shopping center. Once a popular meeting place for many Dubliners and a busy market for clothes and bric'a'brac, this was also the place where Irish rock band U2 played their first live concerts in 1979. Every Saturday afternoon for six weeks, U2 played The Dandelion Market Car Park. '50 pence admission, all ages welcome,' . I love being able to use my own art to convey ideas. There is a good variety of fonts and size/background options for coordinating ideas. This bag is pretty strong for a canvas bag. I put alot of weight in it with my art and drawing books with no seeming stress on the strap, material, or seams. I will probably get others as gifts since I can make them fit each person. True to colour, vibrant but not overdone print. I was very happy with this.
