The Normandy landings, codenamed Operation Neptune, were the landing operations of the Allied invasion of Normandy, in Operation Overlord, during World War II. The landings commenced on Tuesday, 6 June 1944 (D-Day), beginning at 6:30 AM British Double Summer Time (GMT+2). In planning, D-Day was the term used for the day of actual landing, which was dependent on final approval.

4 stars only because it was very small. I love the message on the front. Everyone should wear one on DDAY and never forget the many sacrifices of our soldiers. Didn't mind paying overpriced for it because of the message. Good color of fatigues green. Nice to have fitted women t shirts with a cap type sleeve ( not blocky), but women be forwarned: buy the next size up. I wear a average size 6, 128 lbs. I ordered medium. But it is really small, small; really tight, so I had to stretch it and will wash in cold water, line dry. I will order a large next time. I changed the "we honor our heroes" to "honor our heroes" and moved it to the top . Printing was good, what I ordered. It took a long time to get here but I didn't care, and mail is always delayed where I live.

This t-shirt is made of superior quality combed cotton. Good weight, not heavy nor too thin. The screen print is clear and sharp with no indication of ink bleeding. Looks durable. Very pleased with my customized shirt! The color was exactly as advertised on the website. Screen print letters are a solid color with no ink deviations. Baba means grandmother in Ukrainian and doppio means I'm going to be a grandmother for the second time.
