This amazingly lady is Annie an American type Akita. Annie is a black and white girl (with a touch of akita brindle) Annie's sweet expression is one of the most endearing I've ever painted. What a wonderful breed the Japanese akita dog is, loyal and very smart as well as being extrordinarily beautiful dogs. Akita's are also very independent large dogs with very soft big hearts. I painted Annie's dog portrait in soft pastels.
