A newly digitally restored edition of a little-known 1883 chromolithographic print depicting the agonizing final moments of George Armstrong Custer and the remnants of his command at Little Bighorn, Montana in June 1876. The original lithograph was based on an 1883 painting titled Custer's Last Rally by George Mulvaney. Known as the Battle of the Greasy Grass by the victorious Native Americans, Little Bighorn was the greatest defeat inflicted on U.S. military forces during a century of conflict.
