Custer's Last Fight Poster

This poster is a facsimile of the famous 1896 chromolithograph depicting the defeat of the 7th U.S. Cavalry under George Armstrong Custer at Little Bighorn in 1876. Sioux and Cheyenne warriors under Tasunke Witco (Crazy Horse) and Tatanka-Iyotanka (Sitting Bull) won the greatest victory by Native Americas over U.S.forces in history when they were overwhelmed Custer and five companies of the 7th Cavalry at a place they called the Greasy Grass.
