Cudillero is a vibrant fishing village on the Atlantic coast of Asturias, Spain. The town is built into a natural amphitheatre, with brightly coloured houses tiered up the steep hillsides surrounding a small, active port.
Legend says the village was founded by Vikings, and it maintains a unique maritime character with its 'hanging' houses and narrow, steep walkways. The contrast between the emerald green hills, the multicolored facades, and the deep blue of the Bay of Biscay creates a visually stunning and dynamic coastal landscape.
