Cuckoo Field Plate Poster

Enter the woodlands and meet the Cuckoo Dragon. Small, secretive, and extraordinarily fast, Cuckoo Dragons are common throughout forests and woodlands but rarely seen. Their seemingly innocent nesting behaviour hides a darker survival strategy: females place their eggs in birds’ nests, leaving unsuspecting parents to incubate them. Once hatched, the young dragon’s first day of life is a remarkably ruthless affair. This Natural Dragons Field Plate presents the Cuckoo Dragon as though documented by naturalists exploring a world where dragons are simply another branch of the animal kingdom. The plate combines a detailed species illustration, field observations, physical statistics, and a sketched nesting observation in a vintage natural-history-inspired design. Natural Dragons Dragons aren't monsters or myths. They're wildlife. 🐉
