Crowned Lion's Head Ceramic Ornament

This black and white version of a natural lion’s head in profile is crowned with a royal crown symbolizing strength, dignity and honour. The lion is facing us, a stance in heraldry known as affronté or affronty. Lion was from times immemorial considered king of animals, or at least land ones with this regal stance and rich mane, in nature used to intimidate the enemies.
