The only real issue I had with this was when I first pulled it out of the bag, there as a very strong burnt rubber smell. It almost took my breath away. Prepare to allow some time for this thing to air out before you can really use it. I left mine out on the patio for a week before I started using it.
Overall I thought this was a good solid product. It has a nice and soft printed surface with a pretty durable pad below. It does not slide around or anything, and that's pretty much all I need in a mousepad. The printing is a just a tad dark, I thought. But the ink is still very bright and vivid. But it wasn't enough of an issue for me to complain or anything.
