A few years ago, someone placed a lone red ornament on a young pine tree in a park, giving me a little bit of joy on an otherwise grey and gloomy December day. Reminiscent of the Christmas tree in that famous holiday TV cartoon, the single red ornament is a reminder that each of us has the power to create joy everywhere and anywhere we are, whenever we can. Design description: A black and white photograph of a lone young, scraggly pine tree, with several small branches at the top, but very empty at the bottom. Along a lower branch, a red ornament brightening the photo. Above that branch, a template with the word "create." To the right of the branch and on the other side of the skinny trunk is the word "joy." Both words are in a bright happy red. On the back, at the top and the bottom is a red line in a slighter darker red taken from the colour of the ornament. The text on the back is all in red and can be changed. The text contains templates. The two templates at the top read, "Create joy," "whenever you can." There's then a blank spot in the middle for you to write a personal message or your names or past a small photo or otherwise personalize it. At the bottom are two more templates, which read "Happy Holidays" and "20xx".
