Crashed Airplane (by John Singer Sargent) Jigsaw Puzzle

This design features a painting by the American artist John Singer Sargent (1856–1925). It depicts a fighter plane from the First World War, which has crashed on a hillside in a rural English landscape. The farmhands are working on a field in front of the crashed airplane. They are gathering the crops into bundles. A woman is tying a sheaf of crops together, while the man is cutting the crops with a long-handled scythe. There are both bent over their work, seemingly unaware of the dramatic scene that has unfolded behind them. The original artwork was painted in 1918.
