Cranes have a significant place into japanese culture. Lots of haiku (japanese poems) have been inspired by these elegant animals, They are symbol of longevity, loyalty, health and happiness. This drawing has been inspired by a Kobayashi Issa haiku, and the gift decorated by this drawing are awesome for a lot of occasions and different recipients. Its traditional subject, drawn in modern style and bright colours will suit different tastes. NOTE: the kanji on the top left corner is "tsuru" the japanese word for crane.

Beautiful horse drawing on this coaster makes it a great conversation piece. Artist is very talented! The printing Zazzle did is nice and crisp, but not as black as I would have liked and the edges had some execess on them But some sandpaper fixed the issue
