Cotton Throw Pillow - Burnt Orange, Grey Artisanal
This design is a detail image from one of my abstract oil paintings that I set to a mirror repeat; the image itself included rhythm. The warm grey is created in part by its neighbouring iron oxide pigment (the orange); in the wavy print it becomes a kind of soft and warm shimmer rhythm pattern. It has the warm texture and colour of oil painting with the textile design of artisanal print. More details below:
