Consider the lilies Scripture Art Romans 8:38-39 Postcard

While Reading the "Sermon on the Mount" found in St Matthew ch. 5-7 (6:28-29) I came across a passage that struck profoundly. "And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: 29 And yet I say unto you, that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. At this point I had already decided to use my oil pastel flower drawings as postcard prints. I have always been amazed at the glory and beauty of flowers in the fields, and I knew "Consider the lilies" was often quoted. Simply reading the verses again was enough to draw the connection in my mind. I later thought it would be nice and helpful to have some faith promoting, comforting, and hope filled scriptures on the back, similar to faith based stationary or journals.
