Compassion - Dalai Lama Quote Poster

I have been wanting to do a piece on compassion ever since the Trump administration started putting babies, kids, mothers and fathers in cages. Most of who were innocent asylum seekers just trying to escape the tragic circumstances and horrors they were facing in their own countries. This by far is the worst human rights violation I have ever seen in my lifetime in America. Innocent kids and BABIES trapped in this absolute abomination of a policy in a sickening system that has no feeling or remorse for the lasting damage they have done to these innocent lives. These little lives are forever changed. The scars will be deep and lasting. The fear and terror they face is unimaginable. The last number I could find was 364 still to be reunited as of July 2018. Some may never be reunited. This entire crisis was brought on by people who have NO COMPASSION. How do we foster more compassion in the world when it feels so lost right now? How do we teach compassion and empathy to those who don’t get it at home? We are in a lack of compassion crisis. In the world that I envision we can be so much more. I hope that we can strive to be better at accepting ALL TYPES PEOPLE no matter their race, religion or personal preferences. We should help others in need. We should not judge others for who they love or how they choose to live their lives. Acceptance is the key to finding the compassion in your heart.
