Communications Breakdown Laptop Sleeve

I spent about a year working as the in-house graphic designer for a manufacturing company in Torrance, California, where they produced sign lettering machines and the self-adhesive tape used in the machines. Access to lots of tape and the machines, and some spare time, lead to this series of pieces constructed from the tape. For the print I have cleaned up the image to make the colours more solid, clear, and defined. Self-adhesive tape on poster board, original app. 12" x 18"; c. 1986.

This laptop sleeve looks exactly as it does in picture. I actually thought is was too small until I put my laptop in it. It's a bit snug, but it fits. Figure it will stretch a bit, hopefully seams hold. Them seem good for now. I didn't have any personalization done, looks great as is.

This neoprene sleeve is snug and and well made. The zippers work great and I feel confident the sleeve will protect my laptop for years to come. Only wish is that the print was on both sides -- even still, love the quality! Bright and happy mermaid scallop print -- perfect for my ocean-loving life. :) Have already gotten so many compliments!
