Comma Butterfly, Caterpillar & Chrysalis Vintage Poster

A vintage image that I remastered depicting the three stages of the American coma butterfly - butterfly, caterpillar, and chrysalis. This image was extracted from vintage scanned pages that have been digitally enhanced for coloration and placed on a white background. The appearance of the illustration will not perfectly resemble the original work because I have added my own artistic impression to the art. It is my artistic expression that makes the image unique to me as an artist. Like true items in nature, the art images are not perfect. They are worn and show discoloration in spots, and line art might be broken in spots - but the art is unique, different, and full of vintage charm.
