Colorful African animal cushion, charging Rhino Throw Pillow
I grew up in South Africa, so my earliest memories are of my time there. My work is inspired by the photos my dad took while on safari mixed with my own artistic license :-).
I have used encaustic wax to create the background and pointillism in ink to create the rhino. The images are then photographed and layered using a digital editing tool.
All the artwork in this shop has been painted/illustrated by me.

Love the fabric and the vibrant colours. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because the pillows were slightly smaller than 41 x 41 cm. I was disappointed with that. The printing turned out excellent!
