Colima Volcano The US Geological Survey and NASA have created a series of fabulous images showing views of “Earth as Art.” Sadly, mere images on your screen fail to capture the stunning beauty of these high resolution pictures and the photo quality posters they produce. We at Meralee Fine Poster Art offer two versions for your consideration, posters and art prints. For display as works of art, we have removed the black border to create print versions of the image only. Photo credits also appear on the border. The image itself is 24x24 inches at 300 PPI. All posters are 26x28 inches when printed at 300 PPI, but will still look good even when printed at the maximum size of 52x56 inches. Informational text as it appears on this poster: Snow-capped Colima Volcano, the most active volcano in Mexico, rises abruptly from the surrounding landscape in the state of Jalisco. Colima is actually a melding of two volcanoes, the older Nevado de Colima to the north and the younger, historically active Volcan de Colima to the south.
