Cold War T-Shirt EDL082114
Every writer needs a chequered past. One of the parts of that puzzle was my dubious career in the military. I was actually scrounging for change up in the cockpit of this T-38 for the soda machine when this picture was taken. If I told you what I did in the Air Force during the Cold War then I would have to kill you...or let you buy me dinner. This picture was taken in the Autumn of 1980 at Sheppard AFB near Witchita Falls Texas. I learned a little about flying there and being pushed out of a Cessna by someone's jump boot with a parachute, both things were great fun at the time. This shirt is from my EDLCO RANCH Collection.
