Cold Mountain Coaster

Cold Mountain is an oil painting on canvas of a mountain scenery in wintertime. There are so many beautiful places in the world, and I love the mountains. Especially in late autumn or winter, when the mountains are covered with snow and the lakes shimmer icy in the cold mornings. I love the contrast between the dark green pines and the bright white snow. The loneliness is palpable and the air is so clear and clean. I tried to bring this feeling onto canvas in this painting. And in wintertime, I hang it next to my fireplace.
