Coffee Drinkers Can Stop Zika by RoseWrites Postcard

After creating my "If Every Coffee Drinker Poster", I felt postcards would be a fantastic, low-cost way to spread the word that Zika-carrying mosquitoes are repelled by coffee in standing water and used coffee grounds actually kills mosquito larvae. My article "Safe Mosquito Eradication That Works: Using Coffee, Bti, Rubbing Alcohol, and a Cat" on InfoBarrel goes into greater detail. In fact, the deadliest creature in the world is the lowly mosquito; they kill over a million humans every year. Zika is the reason I felt coffee drinkers (including coffee shops and businesses) could work together to eradicate mosquitoes – and not just Aedes aegypti and Aedes albopictus. Independent researchers from Brazil, Canada, and China have confirmed that Culex mosquitoes are a worrisome vector of Zika. In fact, Dr. Fiona Hunter, Canadian medical entomologist, made this note to self: "No mosquito infection data supports Zika transmission by Aedes aegypti in Brazil."
