Clipper Ship Red Jacket 1854 Keychain
Clipper Ship Red Jacket In the Ice off Cape Horn, on Her Passage from Australia, to Liverpool August 1854
The waters around Cape Horn are particularly hazardous, with strong winds, large waves, strong currents and icebergs.
The clipper ship Red Jacket was one of the largest and fastest American clipper ships ever built. It was built in Rockland, Maine and launched in 1853. The ship was famous for its speed, and was designed with a 255-foot deck. In 1883, the Red Jacket was sold to Blandy Brothers, a Portuguese shipping company in the Madeira Islands as a coaling hulk. In 1885, the ship was driven ashore in a heavy gale. The wreckage sold for £113. Totalling about $113.93 US dollars in 1885.

It is simple, nothing too worrying about this except it is only one side. It still looks good though and is light and not to heavy. I like the AE2 artwork on it as it really takes it to another level. Definitely advise using high resolution logos, it does not have a pixelated look when you look at the detail in the lines and looks good for what it is.

I adore the sentiment behind this keychain, which is why I chose it as a gift. This keychain features a beautifully polished, shiny finish.
