Clipper Ship Polychrome Delft Repro Antique Tile

This is one of a series of 6 scenic tiles plus a blank with only borders available to coordinate with those. Delft tiles look great when combined as a variety of mix and match accent tiles on a wall or backsplash. Tiles are popular and practical collectibles (and gifts!). In addition to wall or backsplash tiles for kitchen, bath, shower or laundry room, tiles can be used around a fireplace and as objets d'art, coasters, trivets, table tops, and other projects. Delft tiles date back to the 1600s when blue and white Chinese porcelain imports reached the Netherlands. The popularity of these items was a great influence on Dutch tile artisans and Delft became the centre of production for these usually (but not always) blue and white tiles.
