Claude Monet - Springtime through the branches Tissue Paper
Springtime through the Branches (Le printemps à travers les branches), 1878 - Claude Monet, oil on canvas. Claude Monet (Paris, 1840 - Giverny, 1926) was a French Impressionist painter. This spring landscape dates from the same period in which Monet was working along the Seine and on the Île de la Grande Jatte. Instead of opening the view directly, he places a network of foreground branches between the viewer and the brighter distance. The device breaks conventional depth into overlapping layers and turns fresh foliage into a screen of colour and light. Signed and dated 1878, the work shows Monet using an ordinary riverside motif to explore how vegetation filters vision and fragments the surrounding landscape.

This picture is absolutely stunning. The picture doesn’t quite do it justice. The detail in the bird is amazing, you’d swear she’s real. Easy to use, arrived quickly. Highly recommend trying this on anything you want to make unique or a conversation piece! Colours are crisp and vivid
So pleased with this

This decoupage paper looks amazing on the old cedar trunk I refinished. It has made the trunk a special gift for my grandson. The design itself turned out much better than I expected. I am very pleased.

Gorgeous paper, a little heavier than traditional decoupage tissue, but it worked beautifully on my project nonetheless. Elegant - simple- tres chic! The printing turned out beautifully, it is consistent throughout the entire print with a somewhat faded or mottled coloration. I am in love with this paper.
