Classic Dorsett Boats mug

Some of the finest classic-glass boats of the 1950s and early 1960s were produced by Dorsett, a California boatbuilder. Like other companies of the period, Dorsett offered a broad mix of runabouts and trailerable express cruisers in the 14- to 21-foot range. The coffee mug is a production of Island Boatshop, in northern Puget Sound, which has fully restored several Dorsett boats including two of the company's flagship models, the 21-foot Farallon. I was originally happy about my purchase and Nana loved the gift. HOWEVER, the description specifically says that these are microwave and dishwasher safe, BUT the first time Nana put this mug in the dishwasher it was destroyed. Not impressed..
